Direct Enrollment Links

Overview

NLP provides direct enrollment links for all courses within a child instance, allowing partners to easily share access with learners and streamline enrollment into specific courses. These links function for both publicly visible and hidden courses, making them especially useful for offerings that are not open to general audiences but still require controlled enrollment for select participants.
 

Retrieve the Direct Enrollment Link

  1. Go to Courses.

  2. Search for the child course that you want to share. 

  3. Select the row Actions (⋮) menu

  4. Select "Copy Direct Enrollment Link". 

  5. This will copy the link into your clipboard and you can paste it to a document, email, etc. 

Learner Experience

  1. Learner receives the direct enrollment link from administrator. 

  2. Learner clicks the enrollment link and is redirected to the instance for authentication. Learners can log in using their existing credentials, or create a new account. If the instance is private, new learners will have to be invited first, before being able to enroll. 

  3. Once authenticated, the link will add the course to the learner's cart and they will be able to continue to the checkout process. 

 

Notes

  • Direct enrollment links are available for public or hidden courses. 

  • Direct enrollment links follow the same enrollment restrictions like:

    • Enrollment start/end dates, if the learner is outside of these dates, they will not be allowed to enroll.

    • Waitlist limits: if the course has a maximum enrollment count that has been reached, learners will not be allowed to enroll.
