Overview
Admins can create and maintain Locations so courses can reference consistent, reusable place records. Locations can include as much detail as you need, from just a venue name to a full address and room-level information.
Add a location
Navigate to Locations.
Select Add Location.
Complete the required field:
Location Name* (required): The venue/building name where the course is held (e.g., “Pharos Hall”).
(Optional) Add address/location details:
Street Number
Street Name
Premises (A specific unit within the venue (e.g., “Room 206,” “Lecture Hall A”).
Sub-Premises (Additional internal details (e.g., “Floor 2,” “North Wing”).
Locality (City)
Administrative Area (State or Province)
Postal Code
Country Code (The country identifier (preferred ISO format).
Select Add Location to save.
Results

Delete a location
Navigate to Locations.
Find the location you want to remove.
Open the row Actions menu (three dots).
Select Delete.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Results
Edits: The table updates to show the latest location details.
Deletes: The location is removed from the list (and may no longer be available for selection elsewhere).
Troubleshooting
“Add Location” is missing: You likely don’t have write access for Locations.
I clicked Add Location but it won’t save: Confirm Location Name is filled out (required). If your Instance validates country/state formats, verify the Country Code format.
My location appears duplicated: Search the list first before creating a new record. If duplicates already exist, consider editing one to match your naming convention and deleting the other (if deletion is allowed).
I can’t delete a location: The platform may prevent deleting locations that are in use. If deletion fails, update the location name/details instead, or remove the location from anything that references it first (if your workflow allows).
The address fields don’t match the country format I need: Keep the Location Name clear and use Premises/Sub-Premises for the most important on-the-ground details (building + room), even if address formatting is imperfect.
