Overview
Learning Pathways allow admins to bundle courses into a structured learning experience. Admins create pathways using a three-step wizard: Pathway Details, Pathway Content, and Schedule & Pricing.
Create a Pathway
Step 1: Pathway Details
Select Add Pathway.
Complete the required fields in Pathway Details (as shown on the page).
Select Next.
Result: You proceed to Pathway Content.
Step 2: Pathway Content
Note: Pathway Content cannot be edited after learners have purchased.
Choose whether blocks must be completed sequentially.
Configure Block 1:
Select a Requirement Type.
Click to add courses to the block.
Select + Add Block to add additional blocks as needed.
Select Next.
Result: You proceed to Schedule & Pricing.
Step 3: Schedule & Pricing
Enter the pathway’s enrollment dates (start date required; end date optional if applicable).
Enter the pathway Price.
Select Preview To Publish.
Result: The pathway opens in preview mode and is ready to publish.
Publish a Pathway
Review the pathway in preview.
Publish the pathway (based on your environment’s publish controls).
Result: The pathway status updates (for example, to Published) and becomes available according to its configured enrollment window.
Troubleshooting
I can’t move to the next step.
Confirm all required fields in the current step are completed.
I can’t edit the pathway title or Child Discover Instance after publishing.
This is expected behavior. These fields are locked after publishing.
I can’t edit pathway content after purchase.
This is expected behavior. Pathway Content is locked after learners have purchased.
Preview To Publish is disabled.
Confirm required fields in Schedule & Pricing are completed.
